CSA - Community Supported Agriculture

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is the very best way to connect with your food. In a CSA, you purchase a share of the farm’s harvest, allowing you to receive a weekly supply of produce.

What Is a CSA?

When you join our community-supported agriculture program you are making an investment in Grenville Farms and our vegetables (and sometimes other items) for a certain growing season. In addition, by putting money down before the season, members are buying into the farm.

That money is an investment, and is used to purchase important and/or large scale items like equipment, seeds and vehicles, in addition to the added farm labor that is needed during the busy summer months. Members who purchase a share join the risks and benefits of the season.

Grenville Farms CSA

Having a CSA is a new project for us in 2015. We are going to start small. This season we are going to have 20 shares for sale.

We will be offering full shares:

- $600.00 for 20 weeks (June to October)

and half shares:

- $300.00 (Your choice of 10 weeks)

Through these 20 weeks you will receive from 8 to 12 different veggies in your box every week.

Pickup Locations for the CSA will be at the Bracebridge Farmers Market, or at Grenville Farms. Dates and times TBA.

We also offer a bonus of high quality chocolate and coffee which can be purchased at an additional cost.
